View each day in 2024 as “the first day of the rest of your life.” Every day is a new day to create that extraordinary relationship you want with your teen. Every day is a new day to create awesome relationships with everyone in your life. Like all humans, teens want to be heard, known and appreciated. The gateway to connecting with them is to listen to them, understand them for who they are (not who you want them to be), value their opinions and ideas, and allow them to contribute. That’s really the gateway to connecting with everyone, isn’t it?
