Self-Cherish, Others Flourish

The holidays can be very hectic. It’s a joyous season for many, but it can be a time when others feel the pains of loss, struggle, and scarcity. You are pulled in multiple directions, doing ten things at once. You’re shopping, cooking, attending recitals and holiday parties, planning your holiday gatherings, and doing much more.

Self-care is important! As you run errands, race around stores for gifts, and prepare holiday meals, remember to eat (a real meal, not just a snack between stores 😊). Take a few minutes just to stop and do something just for you; it doesn’t have to be long. You might sit and read a book or listen to your favorite podcast for 15 minutes to break the holiday frenzy. Taking time for yourself is a gift to the entire family. It allows you to show up as the best version of you.
